PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a safety characteristic to be improved by a method wherein a control means controls an operation to make an alarm indicating an abnormal state through an alarm means when the abnormal state occurs, a leakage of fuel from a fuel supplying passage kept at a high temperature and an abnormal state in a fuel system are informed as an alarm. SOLUTION: In a fuel injection control device for an internal combustion engine in which a low pressure fuel pump 16 and a high pressure fuel pump 22 are arranged, also provided with a sensor means 32 for sensing the number of rotation of an engine for use in detecting the number of rotation of an engine and a fuel pressure sensing means 34 in a high pressure system for sensing a fuel pressure in a high pressure system and an alarm means for alarming an abnormal state. Then, in the case that the number of rotation of the engine detected by the sensor means for sensing the number of rotation of the engine exceeds a predetermined number of rotation and a fuel pressure in a high pressure system detected by the fuel pressure sensing means in the high pressure system is lower than the predetermined pressure in the high pressure system, there is provided a control means 56 for controlling the state in such a way that the abnormal state is advised as an alarm by an alarm means. |
