PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device to which the housing of a drum cartridge is attached, whose separation pawl supporting member and the attaching structure therefor are simplified and where the recording medium separation means of the drum cartridge is formed out of resin similarly to the housing so that the drum cartridge can be easily recycled after the use. SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with a device main body 4, and the drum cartridge 3 attachably/detachably attached to the device main body 4. At least electrostatic latent image carrier 1, the recording medium separation means 2 constituted of a separation pawl 2a and the separation pawl supporting member 2b are provided in the housing on the cartridge 3 side. A driving force supply means 5 supplying driving force to the means 2 is provided on the main body 4 side, and when the cartridge 3 is attached to the main body 4, the supporting member 2b is moved back and forth in the axial direction of the image carrier 1 by the supply means 5. |
