PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile equipment capable of accurately predicting transmission time information. SOLUTION: A control section 3 reads a standard information amount corresponding to an original size and a line density from an information amount table 8. The standard information amount corresponds to one original, the control section integrates number of originals to the standard information amount to calculate the total information amount of transmission originals. A transmission section 4 is provided with a transmission speed detection section 4a, which has transmission speed information after a transmission procedure is established (1st transmission original). The transmission speed information is updated for every transmission of the reception original 1, the transmission speed detection section discriminates whether or not the transmission speed changes from a preceding transmission speed in the case of update. The control section predicts and calculates the time required for transmission based on the remaining total information amount, and the transmission speed and displays the transmission end time, being the sum of the time to a current time denoted by a clock 9 on a display section 6b. |
