PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a terse water quality diagram wherein four elements based on skeletal chemical components of water quality and two separate components participated in the 'good taste' of drinking water are combined. SOLUTION: A diamond-shaped quadrilateral drawn by plotting four indexes derived from dissolved quantities of four cationic elements in water on orthogonal coordinates axes X, X', Y, Y' and the rod-shaped segments of axes Z, Z' showing the dissolved quantities of free carbonic acid and silicic acid participated in 'good taste' are three-dimensionally combined to evaluate water quality of a three-dimensional image or to form a plan. |
