<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ballast to which a safety device can be efficiently assembled when the ballast is assembled and is incorporated in a lighting fitting, and actual wiring work for the ballast is performed. SOLUTION: In a ballast having a bobbin 1 around which a coil 2 is wound, a pair of terminals 5, 6 which are arranged apart and in parallel are provided on an outer side face of one end of the bobbin 1. A thermal fuse 11 serving as a safety device which electrically disconnects the coil 2 when the coil 2 is abnormal is connected between the terminals 5, 6.</p> |
