PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the power factor of an inverter device, by repeating the large charging and discharging of an auxiliary capacitor and the slight charging and discharging of another auxiliary capacitor. SOLUTION: When a switching element 20 is turned on, the power feeding of an AC power supply 10 and the discharging of an auxiliary capacitor 22 progress to increase the electromagnetic energy of an auxiliary inductor 12. When the switching element 20 is turned off, the electromagnetic energy of the auxiliary inductor 12 is fed to another auxiliary capacitor 32 via a flywheel diode 31. When a switching element 30 is turned on, its current is small because the respective polarities of both the AC power supply 10 and the voltage of the auxiliary capacitor 32 are opposite to each other. Therefore, both the slight discharging of the auxiliary capacitor 32 and the slight accumulating operation of the electromagnetic energy of the auxiliary inductor 12 progress. When the switching element 30 is turned off, the electromagnetic energy of the auxiliary inductor 12 is fed to the auxiliary capacitor 22 via a flywheel diode 21. |
