PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic resin coated paper which has excellent smoothness, whiteness, covering property for the base, resistance against light or changes in colors, and resistance against weather and changes in colors and can improve the picture quality of the layer to be formed on its surface, by using a master batch containing titanium oxide which has good dispersibility and hydrophobicity and produces little amt. of water during a high temp. process. SOLUTION: This photographic resin coated paper is produced by a melt extrusion method to laminate a polyolefin resin compsn. on a paper or synthetic paper base body. The polyolefin resin compsn. is prepared by using the master batch described below and a polyolefin resin (2). The master batch contains a polyolefin resin (1) and titanium oxide treated with a silane coupling agent by 0.05 to 3.0wt.% and has <=1200ppm water content which can volatilize at 280 to 350 deg.C. |
