PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection detect corrector that is high in machining efficiency as well as high in the effective availability of an aversive tape, besides less in consumption. SOLUTION: This device is so constituted that an abrasive tape is fed to a take-up reel 9 from a storage reel 6 via a guide roller 5b or a guide shaft 5a while this tape is made to contact with a projection defect 3 ion the surface of a base plate 1 set up in an X-Y table 2 on an outer boundary of the guide roller 5b or the guide shaft 5a, and thereby this projection detect 3 is corrected and removed. In addition, it is provided with an ultrasonic vibrator being orthogonalized in the axial direction of the guide roller 5b or the guide shaft 5a and imparting an ultrasonic vibration in the direction along a surface of the base plate 1 to the guide roller 5b or the guide shaft 5a, and a reciprocation means reciprocating the base plate 1 at a one-side amplitude of less than half width of the abrasive tape in the axial direction of the guide roller 5b or the guide shaft 5a, through which it is constituted so as to correct and remove the projection defect 3 as imparting the ultrasonic vibration to the guide roller 5b or the guide shaft 5a by he ultrasonic vibrator and reciprocating the base plate 1 by the reciprocation means respectively. |
