At this time, the thickness h (nm) of the metallic electrodes 22,..., the curing shrinkage rateα(%) of the UV curing resin 13 and the surface roughness d (nm) of the metallic electrodes 22,... are so determined as to satisfy d>=α.h/1000. As a result, the occurrence of partial peeling, wrinkle-like shrinks, etc., in the resin 13 is averted and the surfaces of the transparent electrodes 6,... in the effective optical modulation regions are nearly flattened. Even if the liquid crystal panel is produced by forming orientation control films, etc., on the surface of the transparent electrodes 6,... (f), the uniformly oriented state of the liquid crystals is obtd. and the occurrence of the unequalness of the optical state and crosstalks are prevented.
