PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an electromagnetic cylinder with high thrust by constituting an electromagnetic cylinder of a plurality of ball screws in parallel coupled through a conductive member with a motor, a plurality of ball nuts screwed with ball screws, a slider for fixing the ball nuts in a body, and a rod fixed to the slider. SOLUTION: The rotational motion of the rotary shaft 1A of a motor 1 is transmitted to two ball screws 4 and 4 in parallel through conductive members 3 and 3, and the ball screws 4 and 4 rotate. By this rotation, two ball nuts 5 and 5 screwed with the ball screws 4 and 4, a slider 6 fixed to these, and a rod 7 attached to the slider 6 advance or retreat, correspondingly to the rotational direction of the motor 1. For the load on the rod 7 at the time of push out of a truck, etc., two parallel ball screws 4 and 4 and two ball nuts 5 and 5 bear it through the slider 6, sharing it with one another. This way, a plurality of ball screws 4 and 4 and ball nuts 5 and 5 are used to share the load on it at the time of push out. |
