PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for shaping a food material, capable of efficiently shaping the food material into a uniform and dense food giving a beautiful roasted product good in texture. SOLUTION: This device for shaping a food material shapes the food material 2 formed on a spit 1 with a shaping drum 3. The spit 1 is carried to the shaping drum 3 with the hook 5 of a chain 6, and the food material 2 is shaped and corrected with the shaping part of the shaping drum, while the spit 1 is rotated with belts 10. Each of the belts 10 for rotating the spit is set on a belt wheel 11 on the side for carrying the spit in, a belt wheel 13 on the side for carrying the spit out, and a tension-adjusting belt wheel 12 placed at the center, and the belt 10 is controlled to a constant tension with a sprig 16. |
