PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input/output control method provided with a check recovery, which eliminates the standby of all input/output processings when a secondary storage device is multiplexed and comparatively improves the input/output processing performance of a computer system. SOLUTION: When a data write request is received from an application program 1, received data writing is issued to a disk (main system) 3a without waiting for a next check point and issues data writing to a disk (slave system) 3b after the next check point is obtained. Data of the disk (main system) 3a is restored by data of the disk (slave system) 3b at the time of resuming the processing from the check point which is obtained immediately before. Thus, the delay of an I/O request by the check point is reduced and system performance at the time of a regular operation can considerably be improved. |
