PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault resistant computer system which considerably reduces construction cost by means of eliminating a rock run-out processing at the time of restarting. SOLUTION: In the fault resistant computer provided with a check point restart function, check point processing-only processes 21 obtaining check points are provided in accordance with processors 10 which the computer system has. At the time of obtaining the check point, a wake up part 23 sets a check point processing-only processes 21 in execution possible states. A sleep part 22 sets the check point processing-only processes 21 in standby states again after the check point processing-only processes 21 obtain the check points. Since the check point is not obtained at the time of executing the arbitrary process, rock run-out at the time of restarting is eliminated. |
