INJECTION DEVICE OF EPOXY RESIN ADHESIVE USED FOR CONNECTING STEEL PLATE FOR REINFORCEMENT OF BRIDGE PIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently inject an adhesive without swelling steel plates owing to the injection pressure when an epoxy resin adhesive is injected into the clearance between the outer peripheral face of a concrete structure and the steel plates by a motor-driven injection pump. SOLUTION: The primary injection hose 6 connected to the delivery outlet 3 of a motor-driven injection pump 1 is connected to injection pipes 9 attached to a steel plate 10 through the secondary injection hoses 8. A branch pipe 7 is provided to divide the primary infection hose into the secondary infection hoses 8 not to reduce the delivery volume of the motor-driven infection side and to keep the infection pressure at the steel plate side 11 lower than a specified value. The primary hose 6 and the secondary hoses 8 are detachable to the branch pipe 7 respectively.
