PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a piezoelectric porcelain composition with a high limitation of vibration level through a low firing temperature by controlling its composition ration and average particle sizes after firing. SOLUTION: This high-output piezoelectric porcelain composition is a ternary composition comprising lead manganese antimonate [Pb(Mn1/3 Sb2/3 )O3 ], lead zirconate [PbZrO3 ] and lead titanate [PbTiO3 ]. When the composition is represented by [Pb(Mn1/3 Sb2/3 )O3 ]x [PbZrO3 ]y [PbZrO3 ]z (where x+y+z=1), this composition is represented by straight lines connecting points (a) (x=0.08, y=0.35, z=0.57), point (b) (x=0.08, y= 0.50, z=0.42), (c) (x=0.12, y=0.35, z=0.53) and point (d) (x=0.12, y=0.50, z=0.38), and the area surrounded by these 4 points in the ternary phase diagram. The fired product has an average particle size of 0.8-2μm. The starting powder having the above-described composition is calcined, crushed, granulated, formed and sintered in a temperature range from 1,050 deg.C to 1,200 deg.C. |
