PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a weld zone free from weld crack and excellent in corrosion resistance in the case of a welding a austenitic stainless steel containing B. SOLUTION: This welding material is used for welding the austenitic stainless steel containing 0.4-1.5% B, and comprises a combination of a welding rod made of the austenic stainless steel in whichδferrite quantity in metallographic structure at the time of melting and solidification is >=3 volume %, a welding core wire or a band arc steel strip and welding flux in cluding Cr satisfying equation Cr >=0.22×B×a, so thatδferrite quantity at weld metallographic structure as welded may become >=3 volume %. Here, Cr: Cr content (%) in the flux, B: B content (%) in base material, a: Dilution rate (%).
