<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous ink for recording, little in the generation of precipitates and excellent in liquid stability, and to provide an ink jet-recording method excellent in storage stability for a long period and in extrusion stability and good in extrusion responsibility. SOLUTION: Pure water (72.92 pts.wt.), methyl-1,3-propanediol (0.08 pt.wt.), a yellow dyestuff (2 pts.wt.), and diethylene glycol (25 pts.wt.) are compounded with each other, stirred for 30min, and subsequently filtered with a membrane filter having a hole diameter of 0.7×m to obtain a yellow ink composition. The ink composition has a pH of 8.6. When the ink composition is printed with an ink jet head, the extrusion stability and extrusion responsibility are good. When the ink composition is preserved at -30 deg.C and 60 deg.C for 6 months, insolubles are not deposited, and the color tone is substantially not changed.</p> |
