PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for integrating versioning and editing in a common data repository where the easiness/flexibility of editing and restrict control of explanation are possible. SOLUTION: The system is controlled by an operating system 120. A data repository 294 having editors 280, 282 and 284, an explanation/editing coordinator 290 and other software is stored in a secondary memory 116. At the time of changing the data repository 294, the explanation/editing coordinator 290 is started and the editor 289 related to the component (file 294 or folder 297) of the data repository 294 is called and stored into the editing buffer 164 of a primary memory 114 and the buffer can freely be edited through an input device 112.
