PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To temporarilly pull a wire rope or hold the same in its tense condition and to return the wire rope held in the tense condition to an original position without performing an unlocking operation or the like. SOLUTION: A wire operating device 1 is constructed in such a manner that one end of a rotational section 5 is pivotally attached to the base end of a grip 4, a wire rope 2 whose direction intersects the longitudinal direction axis of the grip 4 is fixed to the other end of the rotational section 5, the rotational section 5 is pressed to a wire disposing side and an operation stick 6 is provided in the base end part of the grip 4 via a supporting shaft 15 so as to face the side edge of the rotational section 5. The operation stick 6 is held in a condition that the rotational section 5 is pushed up by its one end when its longitudinal direction axis becomes nearly orthogonal to the longitudinal direction axis of the rotational section 5, and a projection 16 is formed in the side edge of the operating stick 6 for temporarily pushing up the rotational section 5 when the operation stick 6 is brought close to the grip 4. |
