Low-volume injection-molding system with minimized down-time and scrap through use of rotational-mold or linear indexing-mold process, where parts have similar front and back core and cavity sets. The system has two mold halves (200) and a controller (214). At least one mold half is movable with respect to the other, and has a plurality of injection cavities (204). Controller controls injection cavity combinations by shifting the position of one mold half with respect to the other to create a plurality of injection cavity pairs. A quick-coupler lock (120), upon signal from the controller, locks the mold halves into a particular configuration. A packaging machine (124), in communication with the controller, labels molded parts (122) according to production run information received from the controller. |
