Thin film SQUID magnetometer

摘要

The magnetometer includes a SQUID loop with at least one Josephson contact and a coupling hole. An extra superconducting layer includes a slit and acts as a flow focusing element. The slit interrupts the superconductivity of the superconducting layer. A surface portion overlaps the surface of the coupling hole such that the construction of the magnetometer vertical to the flat surface is free of superconductive material. The superconductive material is a high temp. superconductive material. A flow antenna, coupling coil and pick-up coil are also included.
