Optical measurement of parts takes place at turntable to which they adhere

Optical measurement of formed parts, especially screws, is carried out using a new optical method. The parts are separated and fastened, in set positions, onto a transporter (13) to be moved past an optical measuring unit (15). A novel feature is the fastening of the parts to the transporter by surface adhesion.
