<p>The present invention refers to a device for cooking food (30), particularly of the barbecue-pit type having a bottom (7, 9) and a radiation-heating means (2, 3, 4, 5), which extends from a portion of the bottom substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the device (30) and which defines a heating region over the bottom. The objective of the present invention is to provide a device for cooking food, of the type of a portable barbecue pit, which can be used either in apartments or in houses. This objective is achieved by virtue of the device (30) comprising at least one removable container (7) located under at least part of and facing the heating means, and a funnel-shaped element (8) on the bottom.</p> |
