Linear displacement detection device

The device has flux parts (3) which form a first air gap (20) and a second air gap (21) perpendicular to the first gap. A sensor (4) is mounted in the second air gap. A magnetic element (2) mounted on a bolt (1) is linearly movable w.r.t. the sensor in the first air gap. A circuit board (5) is connected to the sensor. The bolt protrudes partially out of an outer housing (6). The flux parts and the sensor are held by a holding device (8) which is movably mounted in the outer housing.
