<p>In a method for preventing mineral salt deposits in fluid use systems, a device (10) has a capsule body (12) with walls (14, 16, 18) defining a chamber (20). The capsule body (12) is insertable in a fluid pipeline (24) so that the chamber (20) communicates on an upstream side and a downstream side with the pipeline (24). The capsule chamber (20) contains a multiplicity of spherical particles (22) made of composition enabling electron transfer. Specifically, the particles (22) are made of an alloy with basic components taken from the group consisting of copper, tin, zinc, nickel, and iron. At least 65 % of the sphere's (22) composition is copper with the other basic elements being present in the alloy in an amount by weight of 5-7.5 %.</p> |
