<p>An isolated DNA involving at least a peptide coding region of a human-origin full-length DNA characterized by the restriction enzyme cleavage sites as shown in the restriction enzyme map of the figure; a novel gene which causes expression in accordance with the shear stress of vascular endothelial cells and thus enables the detection by means of the DNA whether or not the vascular endothelial cells are present in a normal physiological environment on which a shear stress is imposed, which has been unclear heretobefore; a DNA hybridizable with the above DNA; a DNA complementary to these DNAs; a recombinant DNA prepared by integrating these DNAs into a replicable vector; a transformant thereof; a substantially pure peptide encoded by the above DNA; an antibody capable of binding to the peptides; a method of detecting a substance capable of binding to the above peptides by utilizing a peptide encoded by the gene of the invention; and a method of detecting a substance which suppresses or inhibits the binding between the above peptides and the substance capable of binding thereto.</p> |
