Flow-pressing of shaped component

The method concerns flow-pressing of a shaped component (14) out of an element (12), according to which material of the element from a zone (60) close to the deep drawing zone is additionally pressed into a drawing gap (32). At least on one side of the element (12) there is a barrier (46) around the zone (60), which is pressed into the element (12) to such an extent that flow of the additionally pressed-in material away from the drawing gap is prevented.
