PROCESS AND PLANT FOR TREATING WEB-LIKE PRODUCT WASTE WITH AT LEAST ONE MELTABLE COMPONENT

A process and plant for treating web-like product waste with at least one meltable component, said process comprising a crushing stage at room temperature, a melting stage and a hot-grinding stage, is to provide a method of optimising a recycling process for such multi-component systems in such a way that it is possible with technically and financially acceptable means to obtain a recycled material which can be directly processed into corresponding webs, e.g. bitumen sealing webs. This is achieved by the process in that coarsely ground material is melted in a continuous process, then freed of the non-meltable components in a heated separator and finally continously filtered as a pressed-out mass.
