<p>An adjusting screw 2 has a shaft 7 in screw threaded engagement with the carburetor body 4 and a head for shaft rotation. A housing 10 surrounds the screw head and a ring 11 is rotatably mounted in the housing bore. Projections 19,20 in the housing bore and on the ring limit the angular range of ring rotation. A plug 12 mounted in the ring engages the screw such that rotation of the plug effects corresponding screw rotation. The plug is rotatable relative to the ring until depressed into the ring (Fig. 4) when a knurled plug surface engages the knurled bore surface 21 to prevent relative rotation and plug rotation is limited to the angular range of ring rotation.</p> |
