PURPOSE:To simplify a protective device in a system for feeding air via the actuation of a diaphragm with the electromagnetic vibration of a rod by applying the constitution wherein a terminal support is rotated with the contact thereof with the lever of the claw of the rod upon the occurrence of an abnormality such as diaphragm damage, thereby opening a contact. CONSTITUTION:When an air pump is under normal operation, the the first end 3a of a terminal 3 in a protective device A is in contact with a connecting terminal 5 on the upper surface of the projection 6 of a terminal support 1 as shown in Fig. (a). Also, a contact is closed and an electric circuit is live. On the other hand, when the diaphragm of the air pump is broken and the center of the vibration of a rod 9 becomes eccentric (for example, eccentric as shown in Fig. b), the claw 10 of the rod 9 comes in contact with and presses a lever 2, thereby turning the terminal support 1. As a result, the first end 3a moves on the connecting terminal 5 and the electric circuit is turned off, thereby stopping the operation of the air pump immediately. |
