PURPOSE:To extract water-soluble salt of sennoside, which is a cathartic component of Senna leaves, by treating water-extract of Senna leaves, a kind of crude drugs, with specific hydrophilic organic solvents, and to prepare a free acid of high purity its salt from the water-soluble salt. |
