PURPOSE:To perform traverse safely, in a rail system for supporting and guiding a self-travel vehicle, by fixing a pair of rails to a machine frame while fixing a coupling member having U-shaped cross-section between facing side sections of rails and covering an opening when a cover board. CONSTITUTION:A rail 1 has rectangular cross-section and upper face formed into flat wheel receiving face 2, and a dovetail groove 3 having open bottom is formed at the lower section thereof over the entire length. Upper and lower through paths 4, 5 having rectangular cross-section are formed at the inside of the rail 1. A pair of rails 1 are fixed with a predetermined interval on a machine frame 15, and a coupling member 25 is fixed between facing side sections of the rails 1. The coupling member 25 comprises an outside board 26 contactable with the inside of the rail 1, a bottom board 27 to be coupled the lower end of the outside board 26 and a plurality of inside boards 28 planted from the intermediate section of the bottom board 27, and a cover board 30 is mounted on the inside board 28. |
