PURPOSE:To enable a user to stably grasp a bar to be grasped at correct angle by forming a projecting wall extending in the upper wall part direction at either one of the right and left ends of a lower wall part and forming a specific contact surface at this projecting wall. CONSTITUTION:The contact surface 7a of the projecting wall 7 is so formed that a pencil attains a correct grasping angle when the user grasps the pencil in the state of placing the side face of the pencil along this surface. The projecting wall 7 is formed to extend in the direction. of the upper wall part 2 from the lower wall part 3. As a result, the user presses the pencil to the contact edge 7b at the bottom end of the projecting wall 7 and uses this contact edge 7b, i.e., the position apart from the grasping position by the fingertips as a fulcrum and, therefore, the user is able to freely operate the fingertips in the case of drawing the vertical lines of characters with the pencil. Then, the pencil is stably grasped at the correct grasping angle and the good pencil state is obtd. without limiting the degree of freedom of the fingertips in the case of drawing of, for example, the vertical lines of the characters. |
