PURPOSE:To form a mark in a state becoming a smooth surface, by a method wherein the release paper of a making film is removed to be bonded to the intermediate coat film of a part to be marked and application paper is removed to apply a top coat film before removing masking paper. CONSTITUTION:A marking film 4 is set in such a state that the release paper 7 thereof is opposed to the surface of the intermediate coat film 3 of a part 1 to be marked and the release paper 7 of said marking film 4 is removed to be bonded to the intermediate coat film 3 of the part 1 to be marked before application paper 11 is removed as shown by an imaginary line. Subsequently, top coat painting is applied to the intermediate coat film 3 of the part 1 to be marked to apply a top coat film 12 to the surface parts of all of the intermediate coat film 3, the image gap parts of a colored layer 6 and masking paper 9. Next, the masking paper 9 is removed from the colored layer 6 to form the colored layer 6 equipped with the images of marks 5 in a smooth surface state so as to be integrated with the top coat film 12 of the par 1 to be marked. |
