Lockable emergency stop button

摘要

The button includes the head (11) having a tubular skirt (12) and a plunger (13) for disconnection of power from equipment behind the wall (14). A radial lug (16) on the skirt cooperates with a slider (20) which can move at right angles to the axis (X) between locking and unlocking positions. The slider has a stop in close proximity to the slot into which the lug enters, and a hole (23) near the other end. Its surfaces co-operate with corresponding guide walls (e.g. 32a,32b) in a recess (30) with a shoulder (33) preventing extraction of the slider when the button is pulled out.
