<p>The process fluid requiring thermal insulation flows through an inner tube 2, surrounded by an outer tube 1, located concentrically with respect to the inner tube, by means of spacers 5 and the annular ends sealed and vacuum applied, measured and sealed to act as the necessary thermal insulation. End caps 4 are sealed to the tubes 1, 2, optionally via a bellows 12 for accommodating expansion, or the end caps may be of bellows form. Inner tubes 2 may be coupled, with an external sleeve slidable over the outer tubes 1 and sealed thereto with vacuum applied within.</p> |
