PURPOSE:To attain the automatic selection of an audio video(AV) source by actuating a selection part with the repetitive selection defined as an automatic selection signal when the same selection is repeated more frequently than a certain level at the same time and on the same day of the week. CONSTITUTION:In a normal state, a manual selection instruction signal received from an operating part 12 is outputted to an AV selector center 11 via a changeover switch 17. Then the center 11 selects an AV source corresponding to the manual selection instruction signal. At the same time, the selection data are totalized by an arithmetic part 14 based on the time/day-of-the-week data of a timer part 13. An automatic selection processing part 16 switches the switch 17 to its own side based on the time/day-of-the-week data of the part 13 when the largest totalization result of selection data exceeds a certain level at the relevant time and on the relevant day of the week. At the same time, the part 16 outputs a selection instruction to the center 11 for the largest selection data in terms of the time and the day of the week.
