The invention pertains to a device for spinning a sliver with a drafting arrangement and a pneumatic twisting device directly following the drafting arrangement, consisting of an injector part (1) and a twist part (2) connecting with it with clearance. The inside diameter of the twist part (2) is extended in shoulder form. Immediately after the shoulder-like extension of the inside diameter, an air-admission drill hole (20, 21) leads into the interior (23) of the twist part (2).
