PURPOSE:To obtain stereoscopic vision by switching image signals inputted to two projectors according to binocular position signals which detects by means of a binocular position detecting device the binocular positions of an observer viewing a stereoscopic image. CONSTITUTION:After light emitting from the projector arranged in the position for the right eye R forms pictures R1-R3 onto a diffusion layer 2, the light emits from a lenticular lens sheet 1 and is then made incident on the right eye R. Likewise, light emitting from the projector arranged in the position for the left eye L emits from the lens sheet 1 and is then made incident on the left eye L, after forming pictures L1-L3 on the diffusion layer 2. Here, the binocular position detecting device 6 detects the binocular positions of the observer 5; with the positions in the areas (1) (3) (5) or (7), a right eye signal is inputted to the projector; with the positions in the areas (2) (4) or (6), a left eye signal is inputted to the projector. Since the observer 5 can always view a picture for the right eye with his right eye R and a picture for the left eye with his left eye L, stereoscopic vision is obtained regardless of the binocular positions of the observer. |
