In an automatically-actuated transmission 210 shiftable between a plurality of gears with a main clutch 205 controlled automatically at least during a gear change, an actuating element actuatable by a drive unit 212 is provided to operate a shift element 209. At least one presettable elastic means 211 is provided in the power transmitting path of the driving connection between the drive unit and the shift element. The elastic element(s) may be in a linear link 210a, 210b, or may axially bias a worm gear driven by the drive unit (Fig. 5), or may axially bias a cam drum which controls the shift elements (Figs 6, 7) or may be between two parts of a pivoted link or a rotary cam (Figs 12, 18). |
