PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce rattling sound due to outside wind and sounds of opening and closing action and prevent a wall surface from being soiled by a method wherein a hood part is opened on the side of a flange at the connections of ducts and an opening is provided in three surfaces on the lower surface side and left and right sides of the hood, excluding the surface on the side of the flange and a gallery are formed in the openings on the left and right sides. SOLUTION: A duct connecting part 13 forming one side of a ventilation hood 10 comprises a cylindrical part to be inserted into a duct 11 and a flange adapted to releasably fix a hood part 12. And an opening 15 between a gallery 16 and a gallery 18 provided on the side of the hood part 12 and galleries 16 vertically provided in a side surface opening prevent birds from getting into the hood part. The surfaces of the vertical galleries are bent toward the inner side of the hood so that an exhaust air blows off so as to be inclined forward at an angle of 20 degrees, in a direction apart from the surface of wall. The opening 15 has a certain width and the galleries 16 are mounted to the opening 15 in such a manner that even if outside wind acts on the front surface of the hood part 12 at an angle of 45 degrees with respect to the front surface, rainwater is prevented from getting into the duct 11. |
