PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive control method of cyclic signals with improved convergence stability for appropriately coping with the change of the external conditions of a controlled system or the like. SOLUTION: An adaptive filter W10 is composed of the two variables of an amplitude compensation term (a) and a phase compensation termϕ. Input signals (x) are amplitude compensated and phase compensated by the adaptive filter and outputted as signals (y). In a transmission system 12, the transmission function Gωof a gain Aωand phase delayΦωis applied and the signals (y) and additional signals (s) are outputted as the signals (z). External force (f) is added at an action point 11b, a difference from a target (d)=0 is returned to the adaptive filter W14 as an error signal at the action point 11c and the adaptive filter W is successively updated by an inclination method.
