PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent film from becoming curled under high temperature and high humidity conditions by forming an ink fixing layer consisting of a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol with a specific degree of saponification and a water-soluble plasticizer at least on one side of a film-like transparent base. SOLUTION: A transparent recording film best suited for a copy for an overhead projector consists of an ink fixing layer 2 formed on one of the faces of a film-like transparent base 1 and a welding layer 3 formed between the transparent base 1 and the ink fixing layer 2. In this case, the ink fixing layer 2 is formed of a mixture of a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol with a degree of saponification of 97mol% or less and a water-soluble plasticizer. In addition, the water-soluble plasticizer contained in the ink fixing layer 2 amounts to 0.5-50wt.% for the partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol. This water- soluble plasticizer is a publicly known polyvinyl alcohol plasticizer, e.g. glycerin or ethanolamine. |
