PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method for the degree of plating adhesion which enables easier and quick determination of a point of inflection on a potential-time curve without labor when determining the plating adhesion by a so-called tangent method among electrolytic peeling methods. SOLUTION: In this method, a test piece sampled from a plated plate is arranged as anode and a constant current electrolysis is performed in an electrolytic solution to measure hourly changes in potential. The time corresponding to a specified potential is defined as time required for the peeling of a matter adhering to the test piece from the start of the electrolysis and a Faraday's rule is applied for a value of current running to the time to calculate the degree of plating adhesion to the test piece. The potential value E obtained is differentiated once pertaining to time (t). The areas of a plurality of positive domains surrounded by a differentiation curve together with the time axis are calculated to define the peak position of the largest area thus obtained as time corresponding to above specified potential. |
