PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly correct engine torque to a prescribed engine torque during gear switching on the basis of the wear of a device and the difference between different individual devices without using an output sensor or a torque sensor, and establish a state having no torque in a gear box during gear separation to prevent a speed change shock. SOLUTION: A diesel engine 2 transmits a power to a driving shaft 10 through a clutch 4, a stepped gear body 6 and a propelling shaft 8. As a gear switching device, a control unit 12 having a microcomputer is provided, and the control unit 12 receives the information related to engine speed and engine torque through a link 14 connected to a fuel injection device 15, and controls the fuel quantity to the fuel injection device through a link 16. When a gear is separated, and the gear box 6 is in neutral position, the engine torque is corrected so that the torque supplied by the engine is regulated to the torque corresponding to a prescribed zero torque level, whereby the shock in speed change is suppressed. |
