PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible light pipe which is useful for transmitting visible rays, has high flexibility and has the resistivity to kinking and deformation. SOLUTION: This flexible light pipe is a flexible light pipe having 2 decimal/ meter or below of visible light transmission loss. The flexible light pipe consists of a) a crosslinked core polymer having a diameter of at least 3mm, b) a fluoropolymer clad having the refractive index smaller than the refractive index of the core and c) a sheath for combining the core/the clad. The pipe withstands a bending test of 180 deg. in the bending radius of <=2 times the diameter of the core mixture at 20 deg.C when measured by a Df value in combination of the core and the clad. The pipe exhibits a drape test arc width of <15 times the diameter of a drape rod when measured by a DW value. |
