PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the lowering of the cutting speed by feeding securely abrasive grains on the bottom of a cutting channel for a material to be worked while the material is cut. SOLUTION: A device is provided with a table 2 for retaining a material 1 to be worked, a plurality of supporting rollers 6, a control panel 5 and a plurality of guide rollers 7, 8... set on the control panel 5, and the material 1 and a plurality of supporting rollers 6 are set to be movable closed to and away from one anther, and a wire S hung over among a plurality of supporting rollers 6 is pressed to the material 1 to slice cut the material 1. In that case, the table 2 is supported to be movable up and down, and a lifting means for the table 2 is attached on one side of the table 2, while a pressing-down component 100 for preventing the lifting of the table 2 and an intermittent up and down moving mechanism E for lowering temporarily the table 2 through the pressing-down component 100 by energizing the pressing-down component 100 temporarily are provided on the other side. |
