PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dielectric porcelain compsn. capable of giving a dielectric material whose temp. coefft. (τf) of resonance frequency can be continuously controlled over a wide range from time minus side to the plus side while having a high specific inductive capacity and a high Q value in microwave and millimeter wave regions. SOLUTION: This dielectric porcelain compsn. is represented by the formula x (1-a)BaO.aCaO}.yMgO.zWO3 [where (x), (y) and (z) show molar ratio, 0.04<=x<=0.55, 0.15<=y<=0.30, 0.20<=z<=0.30, x+y+z=1 and 0<a<1] and has a perovskite type crystal phase as the principal crystal phase. The perovskite type crystal is represented by the formula (Ba1-a caa )(Mg1/2 W1/2 )O3 (where 0<a<1). |
