PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition, comprising a resin material consisting essentially of a polyester-based resin having a specific temperature or above of temperature difference between the melting point and the crystallization temperature and good in appearance in blow molding by delaying the crystallization at the time of molding. SOLUTION: This resin composition for blow molding comprises a resin material consisting essentially of a polyester-based resin having >=37 deg.C temperature difference between the melting point Tm and the crystallization temperature Tc . Furthermore, the composition preferably contains a compound selected from at least one of (A) a styrene-based polymer composed of 40-97wt.% styrene, 3-60wt.% glycidyl ester of anα,β-unsaturated acid of formula I (R is H or an alkyl) and 0-50wt.% other vinylic monomers or (B) modified polyolefin-based resin prepared by reacting 100 pts.wt. polyolefin-based resin with 0.1-15 pts.wt. glycidyl compound of formula II (Ar is an aromatic group having at least one glycidyl).
