PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize the number of received messages every time by counting the number of received messages by time and displaying the number of received messages every time. SOLUTION: A reception control means 8 of a control part 3 stores time and the number of messages received within that time in a message number table 12 by time inside a memory 5. Then, at the time of a standby mode, a display control means 9 of the control part 3 displays the total number of received messages of a total counter 7 and the number of received messages by time stored in the message number table 12 by time inside the memory 5 on a display part 4. Besides, when there is no received message, only the current time and a set function character are displayed on the display part 4 so that the presence/absence of message reception can be immediately confirmed.
